Raspberry deLight Farms

In Shoshoni, Wyoming, there is a beautiful, family owned farm called Raspberry deLight Farms. This place grows everything from raspberries to pinto beans. They also have turkeys, chickens, geese, ducks, cats, and a dog. During our visit to this farm, we enjoyed the breath taking views, the adorable animals, their delicious baked goods, and, of course, the chance to pick our own raspberries.

Raspberry deLight Farms has an immense variety when it comes to what crops they grow. They obviously grow raspberries, but they also grow apples, creeping onions, asparagus, pinto beans, rhubarb, triticale, squash, zucchini, and alfalfa. During our stay, we also saw many beautiful flowers in their gardens. They used to irrigate their field by flooding the fields, but now they use a pivot irrigation system and only use one-third of the water they used to. When they grow their cover crop, or crop that makes the soil healthier for a different crop, triticale, they roll it with alfalfa to make hay. As a result, this hay is extremely healthy and nutrient-dense. During the winter, their cattle go out to the pinto bean field and eat all the stubble, and they fertilize the fields for the next season in the process.

We also seriously enjoyed their baked goods. They bake many different things depending on what’s in season. During our stay, we enjoyed their lemon zucchini bread, chocolate zucchini bread, and spiced zucchini bread. They also sell jams with rhubarb and raspberries and raspberry and plum syrups. On top of all this, all of the proceeds they make from the kitchen go to various noble causes, one including Vision Beyond Borders, an organization focused on spreading God’s Word throughout the world.

Raspberry deLight Farms is an amazing place with lots of crops like rhubarb, squash, triticale, and, obviously, raspberries. The land out there is absolutely beautiful and the farm is sweet and family owned. They have many interesting animals there as well. Their baked goods are delicious and all the proceeds go to different great causes like Vision Beyond Borders. During our stay at Raspberry deLight Farms, we got to see first hand how incredible this place is!
